The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST), together with the Korea Copyright Commission (Commissioner KANG Seogweon, KCC), is set to hold the Seoul Copyright Forum 2025 under the theme of Generative AI & Copyright at The Ambassador Seoul - A Pullman Hotel on June 16 (Monday). This forum will also be live-streamed on the KCC’s YouTube channel, reflecting the growing global interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and copyright.

Donation Relay by South Korean Sports Stars Begins Ahead of the Opening of the National Sports Museum

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yu In Chon, MCST), in collaboration with the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (CEO Ha Hyung Joo, KSPO), has launched the Donation Relay by South Korean Sports Stars to attract public interest in the opening of the National Sports Museum, the nation’s first national museum dedicated to sports. Second Vice Minister Jang Mi Ran, the first female Olympic gold medalist in weightlifting, offered items from her career as the first donor on May 23 (Friday).

International Content Creators in Korea to Promote Korea’s UNESCO Heritage Globally

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yu In Chon, MCST) will hold five rounds of 2025 K-UNESCO Adventure from June to November to promote Korea’s UNESCO-listed heritage globally with foreign content creators residing in Korea. The program invites participants to explore Korea’s vibrant history and culture by visiting various heritage sites across Jeongeup, Busan, Gwangju and Suwon in Gyeonggi-do (province), Yeosu and Pyeongchang.
